WHY EL SALVADOR?

*We have the manpower and know-how of the country in place, for maximum efficiency.

For example, there are some very remote areas where a lot of extremely poor children live, and often they
are neglected by most help organizations, either because they don’t know where they are, or it is not worth their time to travel to these remote areas. These are children who are in desperate need.

*El Salvador is the smallest and one of the most densely populated countries in the western hemisphere,
with roughly 6.5 million people and a size of 8124 sq miles (with a lot of this land mass consisting of
mountains and volcanoes)

It has a population density rank of 33 out of 197 in the world.

*Children (under 18) make up approximately 30%of total population.

*National data show that around 26-36% of the population live in poverty.

*25% of children under the age of 5 live in extreme poverty (that is roughly 125,000 children)

*50% of all the country’s children and teenagers live on less than $1.25 per day

*Almost 25% of school aged children do not attend school, Do to past extreme violence and gang problem, no outside source would dare to go in the country to help and this has created a very harsh environment.

Now things look much better, and it is a golden opportunity to help, help that is urgently needed.

*This factors make El Salvador an absolute top choice for humanitarian assistant.
